ABOUT TRUVECT

Built in NZ for all your projects.

Truvect is an end-to-end construction intelligence platform designed for main contractors, builders, civil contractors, and developers. We provide a comprehensive solution for managing all aspects of a construction project, from planning and scheduling to financial management, health and safety, and document control.

Our platform is built for collaboration, allowing all stakeholders from client to foreman to work together seamlessly on a single platform. Truvect leverages AI to automate tasks, provide insights, and streamline workflows, making project management more efficient and effective.

We offer a range of features, including a comprehensive dashboard, advanced programme management, contract administration, financial tracking, document management, a drawings module with revision comparisons and markup, and a feature-rich mobile app for site management.

Truvect is designed to help you manage your projects more effectively, reduce risks and improve profitability.

WHY WE BUILT IT

One job. Too many tools.

A lot of construction software covers one part of the job. The programme lives in one tool, variations and claims in a spreadsheet, RFIs in email. Nobody sees the whole project, and by the time a report reaches the client, the site has moved on.

We set out to build one product that runs the entire project: programme, contract administration, costs, documents, site activity and health and safety, in one live record the whole team works in.

We wanted AI that does real work. It should take on the repetitive tasks nobody should spend their day on, like re-keying data and keeping registers current. And it should show where cost and programme are at risk while there's still time to act.

It also had to be easy to use: no more complicated than the job needs, and easy on the eye, whether you're a director at a desk or a foreman on a phone.

PRINCIPLES

Strength, utility, beauty.

Two thousand years ago, the Roman architect Vitruvius wrote that every building needs three qualities. We hold Truvect to the same three.

Firmitas

01
Strength

The structure holds. Access follows the contract and is checked on the server, on every request. A client never sees your margins or internal notes.

Utilitas

02
Utility

It serves the work. Claims get certified, RFIs get answered and defects get closed. If a step doesn't help put work in place, it doesn't belong in Truvect.

Venustas

03
Beauty

Everyone sees what they're building. The director checks margin across every job; the apprentice opens the drawings on a phone. The kid on the broom can see the cathedral.

TEAM

We've run the jobs and built the systems.

The Truvect team combines experience managing commercial construction projects in New Zealand and overseas with experience building cloud and AI systems at hyperscale.

WB

Will Broadmore

Co-founder / Head of Product

Will has 24 years in construction, as a project manager, development manager, and property developer, in New Zealand and abroad. Two decades inside the commercial and contractual machinery of real jobs showed him exactly where construction software falls short — and what it would take to fix it. Truvect is the platform he wished he'd had on every project he's run.

DF

Dave Fellows

Co-founder / Chief Technology Officer

Dave has 30 years experience in the IT sector, building and operating hyperscale cloud and AI systems. He was previously Principal Group Engineering Manager for Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service. Prior to that, Dave co-led GreenButton, a pioneering cloud computing startup whose customers included Pixar, NASA, Boeing, and the US Department of Energy. GreenButton was acquired by Microsoft in 2014.

MH

Mark Holdsworth

Chief Financial Officer

Mark is Truvect's Chief Financial Officer. Through his work at Refactor, he brings the financial and commercial discipline that keeps an ambitious product anchored to a sustainable business — from capital strategy through to the unit economics of every project the platform touches.

CS

Christian Smith

VP Engineering

Christian began his career pioneering VDI at Sun Microsystems, before building public cloud services at Dell and global HPC solutions at GreenButton. He went on to spend over a decade at Microsoft leading engineering teams across AKS and Infrastructure. As CTO of Cario, he drove the evolution of its engineering organisation into a security-focused, AI-native team.

AS

Andrew Scobie

Principal Software Engineer

Andrew has 25+ years experience designing, building, and operating complex software systems across desktop, web, cloud, and containerised environments. He has senior and lead-level expertise in troubleshooting, optimising, and scaling hyperscale SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS platforms, including multi-billion-dollar Azure services such as Azure Kubernetes Service.

CJ

Charles Jackson

Principal Machine Learning Engineer

Charles has 15+ years experience building production machine learning systems across computer vision, recommendation systems, forecasting, and AI-powered products. He specialises in taking ML systems from concept through to deployment, turning ambiguous business problems into practical, scalable solutions that deliver measurable business value.

BF

Brendon Frater

Principal Software Engineer

Brendon is a hands-on senior engineer and former development manager who builds secure, scalable financial platforms. Most recently at ACSISS Australia, he designed open banking integrations with major New Zealand and Australian financial institutions and accounting platforms. Before that, he led engineering teams through cloud and microservices transformations and delivered bank data integrations for Intuit.
